Let’s work together

I would love to work with you as you plan your special day! Below are a list of frequently added questions about prices, timelines and more.

How did The Design Track start?

The Design Track officially launched in 2018, however I’ve been designing professionally since 2014. With a graphic design background, experience working for a branding agency, and designing for companies in-house — I’ve learned a lot about people, design and the industry. As for designing for weddings — it all started when I volunteered to help with my brother’s wedding stationary. Not too long after, I designed for my sister’s wedding, then her friend, then my friend, then a friend of a friend — you see where this is going. I love what I do, connecting with others, and getting to know your love story!

What should I bring for our meeting?

Inspiration! If you already have a Pinterest board, colors, paper samples, etc. — those are all helpful. Feel free to bring along your support group too! I will send you a list of questions to review before me meet, so we can go from there. We can discuss ideas, brainstorm your style and just talk timeline and wedding details!

When should I order Day-of Signage?

Depending on what day-of signage you desire, order no later than 1 month before your wedding. Day-of signage includes personalized dress hangers, gift bags, menus, programs, coasters, napkins, welcome signs, etc.

Do you make wood signs?

Yes! Wood signs are all cut, sanded, stained and hand lettered. Because they a time intensive and a labor of love, please order no later than 1 month before your wedding.

How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment, please email thedesigntrack@gmail.com
I’m located in The Woodlands area and will be happy to meet with you in person!

When should I order Save the Dates?

As soon as you know your official wedding date, it’s time to start planning a collection that reflect your style and story. Save the Dates are typically mailed 8 - 6 months before your wedding. Ideally, we should begin 2 - 3 months prior to allow time for us to create, order, assemble and mail to your guests. Remember, all those who receive a Save the Date will also receive a wedding invitation.

When should I order Wedding Invitations?

After your Save the Dates, it’s time to start on your formal invitations. Your invitations are mailed 8 - 6 weeks before your wedding. Ideally, we should begin 2 - 3 months prior to allow time for us to create, order, assemble and mail to your guests.

When do I need to have the final guest count?

If we’re working on a custom seating chart or place cards, as long as we have the selected materials, your final list needs to be ready 1 - 2 weeks prior. I understand that changes happen close to the wedding date, so I will try to make everything as easy and stress free for you as possible.
